Blackfeet Productions was formed by Martha Redbone and Aaron Whitby in 2000. Having quickly established themselves as writers/musicians on the NYC scene, the pair are launching Blackfeet with the release of Martha Redbone’s debut album Home Of The Brave.

AARON WHITBY BIO

Born in London, England. Played piano as a kid, guitar as a teen and anything he could get his hands on since. As a jazz pianist & keyboard man, performed all over Europe playing in top hotspots from Ronnie Scotts in London, to WOMAD and Montreux Jazz festival. Returned to writing songs to heal an ugly split from a girlfriend. Mentored by Walter Junie Morrison, bequeathed a Funkadelic sampler and other goodies. Met Miss Redbone through a vampire.

Remixes for various underground UK soul acts. Lands publishing deal in London, England. Discovers America and moves to NYC. Engineers for, among others, hitmakers Rodney Jerkins and Chucky Thompson on songs by Kelly Price, Donna Summer and Natalie Cole. Song placed on UK- Brit-soul artist Shola Ama In Return (WEA UK), alongside Babyface, David Foster, and Angie Stone. Also penned Canadian R&B club hit "Don't Push" by Jasmin (Attic Records/Edel).

Forms Blackfeet Productions with Martha Redbone, recording her debut album Home of the Brave which is receiving critical acclaim.

Recently worked with UK artist BLOOD on his next album for Oyster Records/Sony.

Currently co-producing with drum great Rodney Holmes (Steve Kimock Band, Santana,Wayne Shorter) his debut album - a visionary brew of memorable melodies, dark harmonies, electronic landscapes and incredible live playing. Also Aaron’s been playing and writing with operatic folk/rock singer Mary Fahl (Sony Classical). Producing demos for singer/songwriter Sean Nolan and urban folkstress Gina Breedlove and also he is due to work on rapper Cion’s debut album, later this summer.
